The prototypical consumer for my business is the single working adult
who has recently entered the workforce. They are committing wholeheartedly to
their jobs and new lives and therefore don’t have a lot of time or energy at
the end of the day to cook. They are struggling to find their work-life balance
and maintain it. They do not have children yet so are able to dive into their
careers and not worry as much about household chores and responsibilities. They
are in their twenties, probably around 22-27. They feel like they are
invincible as they are just beginning the rest of their lives. They are also of
the generation to care about their health and wellbeing. They are more aware of
the dangers of eating unhealthy and the benefits of organic, natural foods.
When picking what/where to eat, they are conscious of where the food comes from
and how it is prepared. However, they also want it to be quick and easy so they
can fit it into their busy schedules.
I have a lot in common with this
customer avatar. I am very health conscious and therefore don’t like to eat a
lot of fast food or buy things at the grocery store that aren’t organic. I also
don’t have a lot of time to cook every meal (nor do I really want to). I am
still in college so haven’t started my career yet, but still feel the time
constraints that my customer avatar does.

ReplyDeleteI overall like your avatars a lot and enjoy the second one the most. I also like how your customer age was specific because it shows that you are targeting a certain group of people. I think that eating home cooked meals is also very important too because it way healthier. Nice Work!

ReplyDeleteI think you completed the customer avatar with such detail, it is extremely helpful in seeing who your target audience is. It is also helpful that you can relate so well to your customer avatar because it can put you in the shoes of your customer and get you to think as how your customers think. Great job putting your thoughts into words!
Hi Hope, I found your first pic to be very truthful to your avatar, trying to have a balance of work and doing what you want. Being in the mindset of your customer will help you to make better decision with your product to appeal to them.

Nice job tying together a general want for home cooked meals in a convenient manner that a lot of people could achieve through your idea.
